As much as we'd love to keep each and every pup from every litter, it's just not practical. Nor is it fair to keep a good working dog from a full-time job. While we work and train our stock dogs, there is no substitute for working a dog full time on a ranch or the range. These dogs love to work, and work hard. After all, that's what we are all about... getting work dogs to folks who need a good hand, one to do the job only a top-notch stock dog can do.

Chakula Stock Dogs sells Border Collies and Australian Shepherds. We offer dogs with a full range of training, some for work and others for breeding. Additionally, many of our puppies are sold prior to any formal stock training. For breeding, we sell nothing but first-rate pedigreed stock. Our dogs are trained in proven, award-winning fashion, many have ribbons and trophies from around the country.

Maxine Schvaneveldt, owner of Chakula Stock Dogs, is not only a top trainer in her own right, she is also a Stock Dog Trial Judge. She judges trials and holds training seminars in the US and Europe. She personally oversees training of all dogs.
